5.a TR13895 - A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, authorizing the appropriate city officials to execute an interlocal agreement between Broward County and the City of Tamarac providing for hearings by the Broward County Minimum Housing/Unsafe Structures Board at a rate of eighty-eight and 45/100 dollars ($88.45) per hour for the code enforcement officer and thirty-seven and 70/100 dollars ($37.70) per hour for clerical support. Included in said costs are charges for mailings, publication, photos, posting of property, and other ancillary costs. Overtime, when approved by City prior to the overtime services being provided, shall be at one and one half the normal hourly rate. All hourly charges shall be billed in increments of thirty (30) minutes. County shall not exceed a total cost, per case, of five hundred and 00/100 ($500.00) without written authorization from City. All costs shall be properly documented, and such documentation provided to City with the monthly invoices; for a period through September 30, 2027; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.
5.b TR13907 - A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, authorizing the appropriate City Officials to submit a Grant application for the Recreational Trails Program to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection for the Sports Complex Multi-Purpose pathway Replacement Project in the amount of $320,000.00; providing for a match in local funds of $80,000.00 in the event of approval of the grant application; providing for acceptance of the award and execution of necessary documents pending legal review; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date
6.a TO2519 - An Ordinance of the City of Tamarac, Florida; Granting to Peoples Gas System, Inc., A Non-Exclusive Natural Gas Franchise Agreement to Use the Public Rights of Way of the City of Tamarac, Florida, And Prescribing the Terms and Conditions Under Which Said Franchise May Be Exercised; Making Findings; Providing for Conflicts; Providing for Scrivener Errors; Providing for Severability; And Providing for An Effective Date.
6.b TO2526 - An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, amending Chapter 10 of the City of Tamarac Code of Ordinances, entitled “Land Development Code” by amending Article 2 entitled “Zoning Districts”, by specifically amending Section 10-2.5, entitled “Planned Development District”, to remove density cap limits from the planned development zoning district designation and creating Section 10-2.5(C) to establish Local Activity Center Disbursement Guidelines to allow for the disbursement of residential units from the available units within the Local Activity Center in accordance with the city’s comprehensive plan ; providing for codification; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; and providing for an effective date.
8.a TO2487 - An Ordinance of the City Commission of the City of Tamarac, Florida, repealing certain business tax classifications and rates and replacing with current classifications and new rate structures that do not result in an increase in local business taxes for taxpayers in accordance with Florida Statutes 205.0535(5), by amending Chapter 12 of the City of Tamarac Code of Ordinances, entitled “Licenses and Business Regulations”, to update the title to “Business Tax Receipt Regulations”; modifying classification tables to allow for reorganization of uses and classifications to be consistent with Chapter 10, of the Land Development Code, of the City of Tamarac Code of Ordinances; removing certain licensing requirements on certain occupations in accordance with Florida Statutes 163.211; repealing in its entirety adult entertainment businesses provision contained in Article III; providing for conflicts; providing for severability; providing for codification; and providing for an effective date
